Describe Training Style: My philosophy blends the physical with the metaphysical – physically training your body also helps train and focus the mind! It’s a form of mental and physical stress relief. When you train with me, you will not only feel more ENERGY, but you’ll feel happier and be more motivated and focused to deal with “life” outside the gym. I train my clients from this standpoint and they love it! Release stress and get fit, it’s that simple.
I’ve participated in recreational and competitive sports my whole life and have battled back from many injuries. I’ve personally rehabilitated my own shoulder (rotator contusion), back (bulged discs) and knee (3 ACL tears). Pain and training sometimes go hand in hand when it’s a matter of getting your life back! I will push you as hard as you need to be pushed with compassion but knowing your limitations is key. Do no harm to the client” is the mantra I stand by, yet when you let me guide you through the training process you will come out stronger and happier
Background/Interests:. I’m a devoted husband and father who loves spending time with my wife and 3 kids. When I’m not training clients or myself, I try to split time between watching Portland Timbers soccer, golfing, hiking, and when I can get out to central Oregon – whitewater rafting. I also have a passion for cooking because I sincerely believe that cooking healthy good food is the key to getting a healthier better looking body. I’m also an avid OPB supporter – it’s always on!
